Cyrus Noble part 6: A New Order Came In.

Elsewhere.........

The leader of Archer Co., Bishop, was standing in the lab he owned. The Sci-fis and mechanics that work for him fear him deeply. It wasn't just that he was the CEO of this Company/Organization. They all heard the rumors about him; what he's done, what he plans, even some outrageous ones that claim he's not even human. All this and more is running through the minds of the scientists when he walks through the door. With no emotion at all he says, "I believe you have something to present to me? It better be worth my attention I have better things planned." The head Sci-fi stepped up. "We wish to show you how we fixed the Annihalator soldier. We think we need a small team of them. Each one presenting a skill that will assist them in any situation. By studying, and improving, the learning capacity of the Arsenal project, as well as Dr. Ching's experiment before he was terminated, we were able to apply that to the robotics of the cyborg soldiers. If you would, follow me please." They all walked to the observing room were they can see a full arena; a simpe white room that was 100 feet in all directions. They all knew that it was a death trap in there. Even the designers are scared of it. Very few have passed through this room. None have come out without a scar of some form.

On the opposite end of the wall, it seemed to shifted back and opened to reveal ten men. All of them have the same face, all of them are cyborgs. Each had a different weapon to present and they seemed attached to them. One had a mix between a shotgun and a machine gun replacing his forearm. Another was lined with different grenades and a grenade launcher for a forearm. One of the had a massive missile launcher lining each arm. One even had a giant cannon over his right shoulder.

The Annihalator Squad put on quite the performance. When they were finshed, and when the smoke cleared, They were all still standing. And there was barely a scratch on the soldiers. For a minute Bishop said nothing. Then, finally, he says. "Dr. Hays is it? You said you were able to do this with the research of Cyrus's pet robot, Did you not?" The Sci-fi looked flabergasted. "Uh, That is correct sir, but--" Bishop interrupted, "I want Drones. No Cyborgs. Just, Drones. Use the same research to do that." He walked away. Before he was out the door, Dr. Hays called out, "But, Sir! What about the Annihalator Squadron?" Bishop stopped, then said over his shoulder. "If they pass my test they may stay. If they fail. It will be on your head Dr. Hays. There are plenty here who are ready to take your place." With that he left.
