The Fallen part 14: Miss Doomsday

They still haven't removed my blind fold. They unclasped my cuffs and sat me down in a chair. They clipped them back on behind me. It was getting colder. The signs of Fall turning into Winter. I heard Hunter talking to me. "Hey there Punk-Rock. Da' Hell did you do to you hair? Woooowee If I had hair like you did the other day, I'd be in bed with a lady right now!" His lackeys started laughing it up. I said, "In other words its just you and your lackeys tonight?" In a flash he ripped off the blindfold and held a Machete' to my neck. "You got a smart mouth on ya. If your daddy didn't want you alive I'd have me a hangin right now." I heard myself say with a terrible Australian Accent, "Now that's a knoife!" (Sorry, old movie. Look up 'Crocodile Dundee') I saw that we were in an abandoned warehouse that must have been a auto shop of some kind.
I never got an actual look at Hunter. He had a light brown poncho, combat boots, a tech helmet that gave four different eye glasses to his left eye, and a big brown cowboy hat that could give shade to Dumbo and his Mother. "Holy Crap." I said. Not knowing when to shut up. He smiled, "What's the matter, never saw a high-tech Hunter before?" "No. I'm just surprised that a old country hick could have access to that stuff." He was turning red. His minions were dieing of laughter, but I wasn't going to get my hopes up. If there's anything I know how to do, its ticking people off. Just ask my Mom, my Teachers, and well, most of the adults I meet.
He lowered his blade and started to walk away. He stopped dead in his tracks when he heard a chopper overhead. Normally, that would be nothing unusual in a city. However, that chopper was way too close to just be passing overhead. Suddenly the roof seemed to explode. When the smoke cleared, there was a battle-chopper, with guns and missiles and everything else. Troopers started spilling through the hole. But these were no policeman troopers, they had black body suits, and had pictures of skulls on their shoulder. While Hunter's minions just had Cameo Jackets with crossed AK-47s and a line under it on the shoulder of the jackets. A single tether with a spike and a circular stand shot out of the air and planted itself into the ground. A full grown woman slides down it like its a fireman's pole. When she landed the tether rose back up, leaving two different teams of Mercenaries.
The woman had long black hair, and had a full body suit just like the others. Except she had one single skull on her front. Like a female Punisher (Comic book character, look him up.) and she had no mask, unlike her little soldiers. That says a few things, She's not afraid to let people see her face because you probably don't live long enough to remember it, and she's got nothing to lose. The reason the area hasn't exploded with gunfire was because Hunter yelled something in Spanish when the roof exploded. Hunter had the first say, "Miss Doomsday. So glad to see you again, Avery." She just glared at him, "That was a name for an amateur, Hun-tar!" She had a Russian accent. She calmed herself, then continued, "Just give me the boy, and I promise that most of your body will be intact." She said, pulling out a Magnum and pointing it at the other hunter. Hunter looked at the odds. It was ten cowboys versus seven ninjas. He smiled, "What? You mean you didn't miss me?" He held out his left arm which had a gauntlet covering it. Two muzzles came out from the top of the arm. "That's OK. Cause I didn't either." He started to open fire, it was a spray bullet gun so they really didn't hit anything. But the ones that did were deflected by the bullet proof bodysuits they had. As soon as Hunter opened fire the rest followed. And the room exploded with gunshots and bullets whizzing past my head.
I tipped over the chair to make sure it was harder for them to hit me. I slid away from the chair, but my hands are still tied behind my back. I looked at the truck docking entrances. There was the van that picked me up. I bolted for the exits. But something caught my legs and I fell on my face. One of the Troopers spoke right next to me. "Stay here. You'll live longer." There was that strong Russian speaking again. It was there too when he got shot, screamed out in agony, and fell on top of me; pinning me to the ground.
Needless to say, this isn't going well. What I'd give just to fly outta.....
Was that Nicole?
