I just got to the mall on that senior's moped. He is going to be very angry when I get back. I went inside to find that it was deserted. I looked around and heard laughing. I followed it to the food court. There was Brenda, in my uniform, with her black hair in my ponytail. She was sitting on a chair and behind her was a pile of a lot of nice things. Dresses, shoes, videogames,--is that a car? She had the employees of different stores in front of her. They were quivering in fear. She was screaming at one of them.
"What do you mean you're out!?!?!?!" She raged. The employee stammered, "W-we don't have the dr-dress any more, mam. Not until sometime next week, your highness." Was she treating herself like a queen? Brenda stood up and I hid behind some plants. I have to destract her with something. "I don't care if you have to make it out of each other's bones and skin! I want that super cute tank-top, NOW!" Jeezum, what a brat.
I went back and looked around for anything I can use. I saw a bag that was dropped by a panicking shopper. It was almost out of the way, if someone was in a hurry they could have easily missed it. I looked inside it. I knew the tank top she was talking about, everybody wants one. It is cute, but I'm not knock out crazy for it like she is.
I took the top out of the bag and snuck back to the plant pots. They looked like hedges, the way they were cut. I flipped the top to lay on the hedge. I heard the Raging of Brenda silence suddenly. "I don't care if you have to bend over and-..........." Shoom. I felt the top jerk up from the hedge, and me with it. She was shocked to see me. Then it was replaced with a wicked smile. "Why, Haley. You know its not nice to keep secrets, especially from your bestest friends!"
I glared at her. "We are not friends. You are a thief and I want my bracelet back, now." I said to her very clearly. She laughed. "Oh, you mean this?" She waved her bracelet in front of me. "I got to say, I would have never guessed that the hero on the news was really a loser like yourself."
I lunged for the bracelet, but she just floated away and laughed some more. "Seriously, you are like, a total idiot! You had this," she gestured to herself. "and you don't do anything at all with them? You could have been rich with these powers!" I said, "I don't be a hero because of the benefits for me, I be a Hero for the benefits of other people! You don't deserve that power! Now, give it back before you end up seriously hurting someone!" She pretended to think about it. "No." She said.
I did the natural thing at that time. I charged toward her.
