TL&TOHJ~Hope: My First Giant Robot Attack

The next morning I wake up on the floor. Candy and I are to nice to each other for one of us to sleep on the bed. So we both sleep on the floor in my room. I got her up and got ready for school. Dad leaves for work early and Mom doesn't get up until a little bit after I leave. She helps Butch get to school. I just sat down with Candy to eat breakfast when Link buzzed. "Are you kidding me? I can't even eat breakfast?" Candy said, "I'll get something for you to eat between classes." I nodded. "You're the best." She smiled. "I know."


I went to my room and put Link to my ear. "Level 9. Unknown suspect. Many lives in distress. Description is giant robot. Many weapons." Uh Oh. I better get there quick. I clicked my bracelet and the streamers of light wrapped around me again. I then flew out the window and towards the distress.


I saw the Giant Robot Link was talking about. It looked like a mechanical animal. It was attacking random buildings, it was just missing the screaming people. I can't say what it looked like, other than it had four legs, a wide width, and a head that stuck straight up. I flew over it and slammed my feet down onto its back. That made it fall. As soon as it fell I felt an electrical shock go through me. I got away from that thing; that really hurt! I flew to punch its head in, but the head shot a bright light at me and pushed me into the ground. "OK, since when did pony looking things get Lasers?" I said sarcastically, when I popped out of the crater. It raised its foot to stomp me in. I dodged it just in time.


"Oh, so that's the way you wanna play?" I said, well, playfully. At least I was getting the attention on me and not the people. I grabbed its foot and ended up flipping the thing over on its back. I floated away and watched as the thing struggled. I laughed. It can't get up! I win.


The head laid down against the road and unfolded a strange looking car, which shot out into the road.It started to drive away. I flew towards it. "Oh no you don't." I said. I don't know if it heard me, but it shot a ball the size of a baseball.


It hit me and covered me in goo. Eeeew! The goo hardened almost immediately. I fell to the ground. Come on, Come ON! I broke out of the goo glue. I looked around for the car. It was long gone.
