TL&TOHJ~Hope: New Hangout

A familiar criminal sat in his cell, the powers within him are great enough to escape this prison. However he wanted to sit there for a while and strategize. How did he loose? That-that Hero, Haley, put a beat down on him. He needs to win. He looked at the bird that landed on the cell window, just in between the bars. He growled a little. Rex hated birds, he only liked them when they were fried, or grilled and served with a side of potatoes. Great, now he was hungry.......again.

Almost by instinct, and before he even realized what he was doing, he formed a sphere and threw it at the bird. The bird squawked and fell out the window and onto the ground. Rex looked at his, uh, Claws. Did he just do that? He heard a squawk, but it didn't sound like a bird. He looked at the window and in the same spot as the bird, was a miniature Pterodactyl. He got closer to it and it called out to him. Rex smiled at his discovery. Then he had a thought. He held his hand up to it and the sphere that he threw at the creature reformed and returned to his hand. Thus, the miniature dinosaur disappeared and was replaced by the same bird as before. Incredible. He had a idea.....and this one was for the History books!

Meanwhile.........

"I got off scot free! I told you I have the bestest big brother ever!" I told Candy as we walked to the hangout. Candy smiled and said, "I still can't believe I'm going to have a baby brother soon. Mom still wants to name him Jared, while Dad wants to name him Chris." I thought about this. "They're both great names." I said. She responded. "I know, but Mom wants to name him after one of her grandfathers and Dad wants to name him after some famous Football player he's distantly related to." We were at the place we went up and met Joe Joe in the lobby. He said, "You do not want to go up there." I asked, "What, did you set off one of your old stink bombs up there?" He shook his head. "Nope. The place is trashed. Every thing's been destroyed. The seats, the table, they even ripped up the tarp for crying out loud!" I was in shock. "What? How? Why? We never did anything to anybody!" He nodded. "I am really getting sick of this town and its gangsters thinking they've gotten something to prove. I'm moving outta here." I put my fingers to my temples and sighed. "What are we going to do now?" Candy asked. At that time Devlin came in with a smile on his face.

He saw our faces and his smile disappeared. "What's up guys?" We explained it to him. He scratched his chin and said nothing for a minute. "Where are we supposed to hangout at now?" I asked. Devlin spoke up a little. "Actually, my Dad has been getting a lot of stuff for the basement. We got the perfect couches and we just put in the HD Flat screen TV. The entire room is now an Entertainment center." We all looked at him. Joey says, "What, are serious?" He nodded. "You guys want to come along? Please, don't feel like you have to." We looked at each other, then back at Devlin. Then we all say simultaneously, "Why not?"
