I was standing behind the group, watching as the miniature league of evil came up. I say this cause that's what they looked like. The white haired one in the middle is Ares, I know that much. There were two people on each side. One had her arm locked with his, as if they were on a date. She was an Egyptian girl with a white T-shirt, black shorts, and she had a golden tiara with a red ruby at the front. The girl behind her looked as nervous as Phoebe, like she really didn't want to be here. She had brown hair, tied up in a bun. She had a green T-shirt, and black shorts. She was holding something close to her chest. It looked like a box. On the other side of Ares was what looked like someone dressed up as a wizard. He had boots, a shirt with a vest over it, pants, a belt, a scarf covering his lower face, and a pointed pilgrims hat that was bent so the point was behind him. All of these things were in different shades of brown. He was carrying a crooked staff that was seven feet long. Behind him was a regular looking blond dude. He had on a simple brown jacket, black T-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes.
We all got ready for the worst. I couldn't do much but the others could. I saw a fire in Phoebe's eyes. Like she was staring in the campfire in front of her, except there wasn't a campfire. Caleb and Drew split themselves into like twenty guys. I guess that's what they can do. Ivan arched his bow, ready to fire. Delila had one hand on a Snarling, uh, Tank, I think she called it, making sure he didn't bolt after the new villainous chew toys.
As Ares got closer I saw that his eyes were yellow. He said, "Hey guys! Its my good friend Dexter! How goes it?" Dexter just glared at him. "What do you want Austin?" Ares glared back but then lightened up a little as he spoke. "I no longer respond to that name." He cleared his throat. "I came to give you an invitation." He handed a paper to Dex. Then, since he is twice the genius' size looked over him and saw me. "Ooo. New girl. One of the newer victims of this town, huh?" Dexter stepped in his way when he tried to walk around to me. Everyone else flinched when they saw this. Dexter said this very slowly and very clearly, "She is off limits. She doesn't even have any powers Ares." He looked disappointed. "Ah whatever. I got a girlfriend anyway. Right Cleo?" She winked at him in response. "Anyway. Like I said, I'm here to invite you to a party a friend of mine is having. You are all invited, and you might be able to find the others." Dexter just looked at him. "And who might this friend be?" He smiled. "I think you might know him. But I'm not aloud to say anything just yet. He's giving an offer that Super Humans can't refuse. Come and find out." With that he walked away and relinked his arm with Cleo. He said, "Malakai! Open a portal, let's go home." The wizard drew a circle in the air with his staff. And it shined like a search light. Followed by Malakai, Ares and Cleo entered. The nervous girl gave me a glance and then entered. The last one gave everyone a hungry look and then left. The portal closed and we were standing there, confused and wondering.
What did he mean when he said the others?
