We searched for his blindfold as quickly as possible. As I said before, its lined with some sorta alloy that blocks his blasts. He can't keep his eyes shut forever. Viktor said, "Guys. They're too close, we're not going to be able to avoid a fight." I said over my shoulder, "Then we'll fight our way out." I found some Magnums that the scientists never got to use. I threw one to Angie, and she almost squeaked. "Use that." I said. I saw the safety was still on so she was never in danger of it going off. I did the same for Megan, and I found one for myself.
We found the blindfold. I threw it to Angie and she put it on for him. I turned to Megan. "Fly up and make some cover for us." She nodded. The room was fairly huge. She flew and punched the wall. rubble fell. Big enough and enough of it to cover all of us. They were all over the room. Perfect. There were two doors leading into the room. We took our positions and awaited the enemy. I whispered, "Viktor. How many are there?" He listened. He never got the chance to answer.
Both doors blew open and the cyborgs stomped in. There were four of them. One had blades and chainsaws and buzzsaws all over himself; and a magnum on his shoulder. The second had a turret on its left shoulder. The third one had what looked like jet boosters on his back and feet. He had wings all over as well. The fourth one looked like the first one in Magnet's room. Didn't I kill him already?
They all opened fire. Mostly on me, but that's normally a good thing. Angie shot blindly, screaming in surprise every time she pulled the trigger. If this wasn't a death match I would be laughing right now. I hit the fourth one in the head and it fell. One down. The jet one apparently had two tiny guns on its forearms. It flew up and tried to hit us. Megan saved us by flying with it and tackling it, mid-air. She was now wrestling with it. The other two were about to fire at her.
I wasn't going to let that happen. I fired to get both their attention down to me. Angie looked at the flying one. She pointed her gun and before I could say anything, she fired. It hit the back booster and it started loosing control. The bladed one came at us when Magnet held him there. The flying one completely lost control and dive-bombed Mr. Saw IV. (Get it? Like the Movie "Saw"? Whatever.) Viktor shot one last eye blast at the turret equipped cyborg. It went through it. Except, that the thing was standing in front of a mirror. It was facing right at him. The mirror absorbed the blast, then shot it at Angie. I don't know if he heard this or not, but Viktor pushed Angie out of the way and tried another eye blast to block it.
It was to no avail. The first blast was absorbing the second blast as it was coming to him. It hit him smack in the face. Megan, Magnet, and I ran to his side. He was still in one piece. But I don't know if he is alive.
