81+1 Heroes Ch. 36: Emotions

"OK, to begin we must go and learn a little about the average mind." Alice says as we walk around my old house. It was a little trashy house. It had a blue carpet going through the entire house. The Master bedroom was in the back of the house. My room was straight to the right as soon as you walk through the front door. Alice looked around the house. "Is there an area here where you would keep stuff, just kind of 'out-of-the-way'?"

I nodded. "Uh, here." I walked to the door next to my room. It acted as a storage closet in the real world, however if it in my head then I guess it serves as something else. I opened it and it looked like it was the prison hold were I went and saw Red, before I got locked in that room. I entered and all the doors were clear. Inside each of them was me. I looked at the closest one. There I was, playing a video game. The car in the game got to a finish line and she screamed. "Yes! Eat my Dust! You Gangsta Fools!" I took a step back. I never acted like that whenever I won something.
Alice came behind me. "Oh, this is the part of your mind that holds your emotions. This one is obviously your competitiveness." I said, "Oh. She doesn't act like the way I do, whenever I win or lose something. I try to be a good sport." She nodded. "This is your raw emotion. This is you consumed by one emotion. Which is never a good thing. If you only have one emotion then you effect the rest of your mind and the rest of your life. That's why they're locked up here." I looked into another one. I saw me staring at a poster on the wall. The walls in this room were full of posters of different guys from all around the world. "What is this one, Love?" I asked. Alice came behind me and said, "No." very seriously. "That is Lust, not love. There is a thick wall between the two. We all have to find the difference sometime in our lives."

I asked. "So what are we looking for?" She answered. "A way to your center. Ounce we get there we will need to learn how to defend your mind. Lose your mind, lose your sanity."
"From what?" I asked. She shrugged, "Anything. Strong emotions that will effect your decisions, the mind will sometimes see an alien force and try to destroy it, it will even throw up illusions to trick you." OK. I was ready to leave.

As soon as I thought that I heard a bit of a chuckle behind me. I turned to see my dad standing there. He was a strong, and burly man. He wore glasses, a checkered shirt, dirty jeans, and his old workman shoes. He had a wicked smile on his face. "Hello girls." He took a step toward us. I was paralized. "D-dad?" I shook that thought away. "No. You are not my dad! Go away you freak!" I think tears are starting to form. He continued to step towards us. Alice put a hand on my shoulder. "This is your mind, Noel. Only you can face your demons." I ran to slam my fist in his face.

As soon as it connected I woke up from the dream, out of breath and sweating. Alice was next to me. We were back in the wrestling room. She looked at me calmly, "Its OK. I think we're ready to try it on Red."
