I ripped Megan out of the doorway and they opened fire. Ten minutes later they stop and I hear stomping. They're coming to see if they got us, that's our chance. I saw just an inch of him and I launched myself. Ripping off his gun and picking him up. This dude is so heavy. I used him to block the fire of the other mechs. Megan picked up the gun behind me. She pulled some wires sticking out of it and it fired. It almost hit me but when she saw what she did she started grinning evilly. I started moving forward with the body-blow-buddy in front. She took each one out, one by one. The scientists too. After the last one she dropped the gun and I dropped the now obliterated robotic corpse. What is this guy made of? Magnet hit the floor as soon as he saw us in the doorway. I picked him up. "Hey buddy. You OK?" He looked at me. "What?!" Crap. He's deaf, I just hope its temporary. That's what happens to kids in the movies, doesn't it? I gave him his goggles and he took them gladly. I said, "Megan. Hold on to him and stay close behind me." She nodded and took him. I looked at the metal they were testing. This could be helpful. I took it, put it in my pocket, and proceeded to hunt down Viktor.
I followed his scent to a door down the hall. I heard a strange noise through the door. I opened it slightly so I could see. They had Viktor chained to a wall. He only had his jeans and shoes on. They had mirrors placed all over the room. They tazzed Viktor and he shot a beam that bounced off each mirror and hit a target marked on the opposite wall. I was about to start my killing spree, but a hand was put on my shoulder. I spun around to see Angie. I had a different anger now. I said in a low voice, "Angie! You are not supposed to be here!" She said back, "I know, I know, but I just wanted to help somehow. I heard Viktor got captured and I feel like its my fault. Please I just want to help." She had a really sorry look on her face. I sighed. "Hold Magnet for us. I got your assignment right here." Megan gave Magnet to Angie. He was a light kid, but I guess he's a little too much for her.
I slammed the door open and stepped in; Megan was right behind me. The Scientists froze. Within minutes the scientists were dead. Except the one holding the tazzer. I left him half dead on the floor. Never mess with my family.
I let Viktor down from the wall. He fell, barely able to stand. He had his eyes shut tight. I helped him up. "Vik, You OK?" He nodded slowly, and said, "Those tazzers hurt, let me tell ya." I heard a gasp. I turned to find Angie running over here holding Magnet's hand. "Is he OK?" she asked looking at Viktor. Magnet asked at regular volume, "What do we do now?" I guess that means he got his hearing back. I said, "We need to get out of here while we still can. Angie, Magnet help Viktor. Megan, I want you to help me search for Viktor's Blindfold." Viktor screamed, "Wait!" We all froze. He was listening. "Somethings coming. Something made of metal."
Crud. More of those Cyborg Annihilators are coming after us.
