We stood there back to back. We are totally screwed. That is until a giant bubble seemed to appear out of nowhere. It engulfed us. WTH?
The enemies started firing. This bubble thing deflected all of the bullets. One or two of the knights fell, I guess because of a couple of lucky bullets. They stopped firing at the sight of more bubbles coming up. They were different from ours, they had electricity surging within them, and they came slow at first, but they sped up and hit the drones above us. They deactivated, and the soldiers got hit by a huge Inferno. The Elite Archers dodged it, only to be hit by energy blasts with the colors of the rainbow in it. The bubble popped, and I saw what must have been the youngest (and the weirdest) set of commandos I've ever seen. The tallest one said, "See? Your powers do work in combos. Nice work." I wasn't going to ask. "Uh, Thanks." I said. I never realized it, but I never said Thank You. To anyone. I shouldn't have had to say it to a stranger for the first time. I then said, "Did you find my family, yet?" He shook his head. "Not Yet, but I think you were on the opposite side of it when you entered. Just keep Bishop busy, we'll get them outta here." He had a slight country accent to his voice, not much, but it was there. I nodded. "Then get to it." I ordered. They ran off in the way we came. We continued to the head.
Meanwhile...........
I woke up, hanging in some sortta hi-tech containment unit. It had lasers holding on to my hands and feet making me do an "X" in mid air. I looked to my left: Viktor and Magnet were still knocked out, they were in the same thing-a-ma-jig as I was. Jazz and Arsenal were to my right, the same thing done to them. It looks like they had time to take Jazz's belt, and put a harness around my wings. I looked around the room. The only other thing in here, were four different computer terminals in front of us. Where is Sara?
The door opened and my heart jumped up into my throat when I heard him speak. "Oh, your awake. Good." Longarm stepped into the room........
